Northern California is facing a set of regional challenges, ranging from fires, floods, and loss of biodiversity – to homelessness and urban flight in once vibrant downtowns. As we have always, local landscape architects are meeting the moment developing impactful solutions to address our most pressing environmental issues. The ASLA-NCC Executive Committee is brainstorming for the Chapter’s first local symposium, planned for mid-2024, to gather Northern California design professionals and allies to share ideas and visions.
