ASLA-Northern California is excited to be the HOST CHAPTER for the 2022 Conference on Landscape Architecture to be held in San Francisco, November 11-14, 2022! WE NEED YOUR HELP. We are seeking ASLA members to assist with The Host Chapter Booth and the Women in Landscape Architecture Walk.
The Host Chapter Booth is open the Thursday before the conference and all four days of the conference and is an information center for attendees. A place where:
● The chapter can showcase its programs and events
● Attendees can meet and greet chapter leaders
● The chapter can sell approved chapter items; and
● Disseminate local information – restaurants, attractions, and more.

We are also seeking volunteers for The Women in Landscape Architecture (WILA) Walk on Monday, November 14th from 7 AM to 8:30 AM.
Refreshments – Most critical volunteer positions to fill
Description: Pick up pre-paid refreshments (coffee and food) from a nearby vendor TBD at 6:30 AM or meet the delivery person at 7:00 AM at Rincon Park. Set up refreshments table at Rincon Park by 7:20 AM. Cups and napkins provided by the vendor shall be available at the concrete seating platform where the refreshments will be served. Assist with handing out refreshments. People are expected to arrive at Rincon Park around 7:40 AM. Clean up the refreshments table after people leave around 8:00 AM.
Time: 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM
Ushers for Traffic Control
Description: The ushers will help keep the WILA Walk group safe and guide people to stay on the route. One person will stay at the back of the group to make sure that no one falls behind. Ushers are encouraged to wear bright vests.
Time: 6:45 AM to 8:30 AM
Photographer
Description: Take photos during the walk. Focus on taking pictures of the WILA Walk group walking the route and guests interacting with the WILA Walk projects. Preferably the photographer will have access to a camera that can take high resolution photos.
